The program held on May 12 was one of the biggest musical festival ever happened at Darjeeling. Along with Deepak Bajracharya and the Rhythm Band, many other various artists performed. Another musical band " The Surmount Nepal" and comedian Subodh Gautam also reached the venue all the way from Kathmandu.
With the invitation from the organizer of The Summer Music Festival, the whole team reached the biggest musical program in the hills. With the belief of saving culture and tradition, Deepak Bajracharya formed a big band which includes various Nepali ethnic instruments and Lakhe, Jhakri itself. This indicates the preservation of Nepali culture, tradition, and dance that should be followed by our coming generation, says Deepak Bajracharya. According to audiences, it was the first time that they could experience the dance of Lakhe and Jhakri at Darjeeling. They were very overwhelmed for the presence of Deepak Bajracharya and Rhythm Band.
